Description

One of the earliest scrollers, Kid Icarus is quite playable. The graphics are very typical of the mid 80's but that has little effect on gameplay. The control is nice and accurate. The dungeons provide a lot variety as well as each of the four worlds provided. The different monsters have different strengths, and you must think before just running in and shooting. The level design also provides a great challenge, because it required precise jumps to avoid falling. Some areas branch off in two directions, and you wont't know if you took the better one until you replaying it.
