Description

This is an extremely entertaining scroller, that is a challenging almost in a frustrating way. You have to make your way through a series of rooms on every level. At the end of each one, there's a fierce boss who always requires a good amount of skill. The detail in the environments is good for a NES title, and the characters are also well animated. The feel of Castlevania is dark and the music has some of the most memorable tracks in the history of the NES.
